Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

At My College Audition, we are dedicated to providing access and opportunity through the intentional inclusion of all in our community of students, parents, families, coaches and faculty. We are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible space for people of any identity or background including but not limited to: race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, religion, age and ability. We advocate for and hold ourselves accountable to create a community that is inclusive and proactive in learning from and listening to all perspectives by acknowledging experiences. 

It is extremely important to us to continue to expand our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion beyond the statement above; to support our intentions not just with words, but with action. While we are proud of the diverse perspectives represented in our coaching staff, our commitment to gender inclusion training for our team, and our growing scholarship fund aimed at elevating students in underrepresented groups, we feel strongly that this work is never finished. As a part of the pipeline that feeds into pre-professional training programs and the performing arts industry as a whole, we feel a duty to continue learning about and implementing ways in which we can expand access to our world's stages and screens.
