Gigi Watson (she/her)
Since 2017, Gigi has helped hundreds of students toward their dream school as a Consultant, Monologue, Acting for Song and Interview Coach, and has served as Director of My College Audition since 2021. Originally from Philadelphia, she worked as a Boston-based actor, singer, and theatre maker for fifteen years before relocating to Los Angeles in 2025.
She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College, where she also worked in the Performing Arts Admissions Department for several years. Gigi has worked and trained in various capacities with the SITI Company, Shakespeare and Company, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, CAP21, and the University of the Arts.
A proud member of Actors' Equity Association, Gigi has worked with many top theatre companies including ArtsEmerson, the Huntington Theatre Company, Speakeasy Stage, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Gloucester Stage, Actors' Shakespeare Project, Wheelock Family Theatre, Greater Boston Stage Company, Boston Playwrights Theatre, Company One, Theatre Horizon, and more. She can be seen periodically in your TV and web commercials, heard on your radio ads, and works with private clients regularly as a voiceover artist.
As an actor, Gigi is most proud of her work on the communications teaching teams for some of the nation’s top hospitals & medical schools, including the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital, Beth Israel, Brigham and Women’s, Mass General, and Harvard Medical School.
Gigi has taught and lectured at numerous venues and events, including the International Thespian Festival, the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and schools all over the East Coast. Outside of theatre, her second passion is practicing yoga, and she has been a Registered Yoga Teacher since 2016.
Gigi is incredibly grateful to lead the My College Audition team, and believes deeply in the value of a post-secondary Theatre education. In each of her students, she tries to instill a sense of confidence, a sense of excitement, and a sense of humor as they board the fantastic and fulfilling ride of a career in the arts.
