Erica Spyres is a proud MCA Acting for the Song coach. She made her Broadway debut in Carousel as an ensemble member and an understudy, appearing in several performances as Julie Jordan and Carrie Pepperidge. Most recently, she was seen in Paradise Square at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. For nearly two years, Erica toured the US, Canada, and Japan with the Once First National Tour. Then, she spent two months in Paris performing in Passion opposite Natalie Dessay at the Theatre du Chatelet under the baton of Andy Einhorn. She has been a soloist with The Boston Pops, for Sondheim Unplugged at 54 Below, and recorded with several bands in the NYC area. For her work in Boston, Erica has received an Elliot Norton Award forTribes (SpeakEasy Stage), IRNE Awards for Camelot (New Rep), Avenue Q (Lyric Stage), and The Light in the Piazza (SpeakEasy Stage), and has performed in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Company, Peter and the Starcatcher, Into the Woods (Lyric Stage), Pirates! (Huntington), Master Class, and Marry Me a Little (New Rep). Commercials, live corporate, and voiceover clients include Amica, Uno Chicago Grill, Philips Lifeline, AspenTech, Arbor Networks, NormaTec, Metro Credit Union, and more! Erica received her BA in Vocal Performance from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and feels confident in telling you that a non-traditional path can lead you to a successful career in performance!
